Rachael offers online counselling, phone counselling and video counselling across Australia, with support for anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationships and emotional wellbeing.

How do phone counselling sessions work?

You book a time, choose phone as your appointment type, and Rachael calls you at the agreed time. Choose a private, comfortable space where you can talk freely.

How do video counselling sessions work?

Video sessions are arranged in advance and can be attended from home or another private space with a reliable internet connection.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to make an appointment. You can contact Rachael directly to enquire or book.

Do you offer bulk billing?

Rachael does not currently offer bulk billing. Any fees or appointment options can be discussed before booking, so you can make an informed decision.

Can I claim sessions through NDIS?

Sessions with Rachael are not currently offered as an NDIS-funded service. If you have an NDIS plan, please check with your plan manager or support coordinator before booking.

What can I talk about?

You can talk about anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, grief, trauma, burnout, family issues, life changes or anything that feels difficult to carry alone.

Is counselling confidential?

Counselling is treated confidentially, with clear exceptions around safety, risk of harm, legal obligations and mandatory reporting requirements.

What if I feel nervous before my first session?

Feeling nervous is very common. You do not need to know exactly what to say. Rachael can help you start gently and work out the next step.

Is this crisis support?

No. This website and counselling service are not crisis support. If you are in immediate danger call 000. For urgent mental health crisis support, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or another emergency service.

How much is a session?

A standard 60-minute phone or video counselling session is listed as $50.

What if I am not sure what support I need?

That is okay. You can start with what has been feeling difficult, and Rachael can help you clarify what may be helpful.

Is Rachael a psychologist or doctor?

No. Rachael does not present herself as a registered psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor, medical practitioner or crisis service. Consultations are supportive, confidential, non-emergency conversations for general wellbeing guidance and education. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychology, psychiatry or crisis support.

What if I need medical or mental health treatment?

Please speak with your GP, psychologist, psychiatrist or another suitably qualified health professional. If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, call 000 or attend your nearest Emergency Department.
