Confidentiality

Confidentiality and privacy in counselling.

How confidentiality is approached at Rachael Marie’s Counselling, including privacy, respectful support and important safety limits.

Private and respectful

Your story is treated with care.

Counselling works best when people feel safe enough to speak honestly. Rachael aims to provide a calm, respectful and confidential space for phone and video counselling.

Confidentiality has important limits where safety, legal obligations or risk of harm are involved. If you are unsure, you can ask Rachael about confidentiality before or during your first session.

1

Respect

You can share at your own pace and ask questions before discussing sensitive details.

2

Privacy

Use a private space for phone or video counselling where you feel comfortable speaking openly.

3

Safety limits

Confidentiality may be limited if there is risk of serious harm, immediate danger or a legal requirement.
