Study & support experience

Practical experience with people who need support.

Rachael has studied Bachelor of Psychological Science at Griffith University and brings a warm, grounded approach to supporting people through life’s challenges. Her background gives her a compassionate understanding of stress, behaviour, family pressure, communication difficulties, and the importance of feeling safe, respected, and heard.

Clear professional boundaries

General guidance, not medical treatment.

Rachael’s consultations are supportive, confidential, non-emergency conversations. They can help you speak openly, reflect on concerns and consider practical next steps.

They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychology, psychiatry, crisis support or a replacement for care from a qualified health professional. If you need medical or mental health treatment, please speak with your GP, psychologist, psychiatrist or another suitably qualified professional.

If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, call 000 or attend your nearest Emergency Department.

Your first session

Your first session is a welcoming introduction where you can talk about what has brought you here, what you would like support with, and what you hope to get from future sessions. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. This time is about helping Rachael understand your situation, your needs, and what support may feel most helpful for you.

The goal is for you to leave with a clearer sense of direction, some initial support, and an understanding of what working together may look like.

A safe pace

Rachael understands that opening up about personal challenges can feel difficult, emotional, or overwhelming. Sessions move at a pace that feels manageable for you, with space to pause, reflect, and share only what you feel ready to talk about.

Together, you can gently explore practical coping ideas, simple next steps, and ways to feel more supported between sessions.
